Merah Gallery is pleased to participate in Art Jakarta 2026, presenting a focused selection of works by Indonesian contemporary sculptor Redy Rahadian. The presentation brings together recent developments from Rahadian’s Heart, Animal, and Abstract series, extending his long-standing exploration of connection, collective identity, instinct, balance, and human relationships through metal.

Working with his distinctive vocabulary of repeated human figures, linear structures, and interconnected forms, Rahadian continues to develop a sculptural language that moves between intimacy and monumentality. At Art Jakarta 2026, these familiar elements are reconfigured through new compositions, forms, and spatial relationships, reflecting an evolving phase in his practice.

Through this presentation, Merah Gallery continues its commitment to supporting Indonesian contemporary art and placing locally rooted artistic practices within a broader regional and international context.
