A Captivated Heart
Redy Rahadian - Painted Steel
A heart, confined within the cold geometry of steel, speaksof the paradox of attachment. Love gives warmth and meaning, yet when it clingstoo tightly, it imprisons the very soul it seeks to hold. The cage is not builtby malice, but by fear, fear of loss, fear of solitude. Within its bars, theheart beats louder, yearning for freedom, yet terrified of the emptinessbeyond.
This sculpture reflects the fragile balance between devotionand dependence, between loving someone deeply and losing oneself entirely. Itis a reminder that true love breathes only when both hearts remain free, connected, but never confined.
