Fiametta Gabriela (b. 1988, Jakarta) is a Jakarta-based visual artist, artistic director, performer, and arts project manager whose interdisciplinary practice navigates the territories between psychological inquiry, performative gesture, and the textures of everyday life. Working fluidly across painting, drawing, video, performance, and installation, Gabriela constructs works that resist medium-specific boundaries, treating each form as a distinct vocabulary in service of a singular artistic enquiry.

Gabriela holds a Diploma in Visual Communication Design, with a specialisation in Illustration, from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore. Her trajectory as an independent artist has cultivated both technical breadth and a distinctly multidisciplinary vision.

Her work has been presented in significant group exhibitions and international art fairs, including the Titicara – Meruah programme initiated by Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Bandung (2024), as well as Art Jakarta Gardens, Art Jakarta, and Art Moments, where she has been represented by D Gallerie (2023–2025).

As an artistic director, Gabriela has shaped a body of stage and exhibition productions distinguished by historical depth and contemporary urgency. In 2025, she directed "5 Fragmen Perang Djawa: Alih Wahana 'Babad Diponegoro'" at the National Library and Galeri Indonesia Kaya, alongside "in(her)ited silence" at Komunitas Salihara, Jakarta. She previously directed the Di Tepi Sejarah series for Titimangsa Foundation, comprising "Ke Pelukan Orang-Orang Tercinta" (2023) at Salihara and "Yang Tertinggal di Jakarta" (2022) at Teater Kecil, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta. In 2024, she contributed to the Malay musical "Kwee Tek Hoay: Sang Pendekar Pena", produced by Kelompok Pojok for the Indonesian Musical Festival at Ciputra Artpreneur, Jakarta. Her work as stage designer further extends to "Bunyi Puan Nusantara", presented during the National Cultural Week (2023) at the PFN Studio, Otista.

Gabriela's installation practice is exemplified by The Dancer (2024), a collaborative work conceived with Tulola Design and fashion designer Auguste Soesastro, presented at the Nusantara Ballroom, The Dharmawangsa, Jakarta.

Her contribution to arts management is equally substantive. She served as project manager for the landmark solo exhibition "Nunung WS: The Spirit Within" (2023) at the National Gallery of Indonesia, and subsequently coordinated the book discussion programme and national tour for "Nunung WS: Jiwa, Cita, dan Nuansa", the publication marking five decades of the artist's practice, presented at Institut Kesenian Jakarta, Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, and ARTJOG (2024). She currently holds the position of project manager at D Gallerie while maintaining an active engagement with contemporary art exhibitions across Indonesia.
